Safety-check out (Only U.S.A. model) After correcting the original service problem perform the following safety check before releasing the set to the customer Connect the insulating-resistance tester between the plug of power supply cord and termina

14、l GND on the back panel. Specifications: More than 10M ohm at 500V INITIALIZING Factory-shipped condition Press the STOP and STANDBY same time with NO DISC condition. Display “CLEAR” on the FL tube. After “CLEAR” is displayed on the FL tube, display “INITIALIZE COMPLEATE” . After it is confirmed to

15、become to STANDBY. Turn offf the power. REMOVE THE SOLDER OF LASER DIODE SHORT When replace the mechanism or DVD main PC board. Shotting the solder of Shot-circuit land. (2 positions) Connect the FFC to PWB(NCDG-8875:P1002) and Pickup. Remove the solder of short-circuit land(1 points) for the laser

16、diode destruction prevention with the soldering iron. Pattern Solder TEST MODE 1. Tray lock mode Press “PLAY” key is 3-time and “OPEN/CLOSE” key is 10 seconds. 2. Select NTSC or PAL system Press “UP” key and “POWER” key. DV-SP506 SETTING FW NOTE: This work does before TEST MODE Prepared Special remo

17、te controller (RC-484M) 1. Setting firmware 1-1. Turn on power switch and display No Disc on the FL tube. 1-2. Press DVD key and 2 key at the same time. 1-3. Press RETURN key. Display REGION MODE on the FL tube. 1-4. Press figure key (Example: 1=U.S.A.) , and display REGION01 on the FL tube. MDD1N:

Write it Disc at Once. 2-3. DISC that has already been written is put on tray and close the tray. 2-4. Disc is loaded, di

19、splay is Firmware Upgrade Erase and program start cancel on the TV monitor. 2-5. Select Start and press ENTER key. Starting upload. 2-6. When the tray opens, DISC is taken out. NOTE: Do not pull out the AC cord. Initialize it after changing of writing. 3. Initialization 3-1. Press “STOP” and “STANDB

20、Y” at same time with NO DISC condition. 3-2. Display “INTIALAIZE” on the FL display. 3-3. Display “COMPLEATE” on FL tube after initializing foe setting.
