BesuretotestforleakagecurrentwiththeACpluginbothpolarities,inaddition,whenthesetspowerisineachstate(on,offandstandbymode),ifapplicable.CAUTIO

Caution concerning disassembly and assembly!Throughgreatcareistakenwhenpartsweremanufacturedfromsheetmetal,theremaybeburrsontheedgesofparts.Theburrscouldcauseinjuryiffingersaremovedacrosstheminsomerarecases.Wearglovestop

Use only designated parts!Thesetspartshavespecificsafetyproperties(fireresistance,voltageresistance,etc.).Besuretousepartswhichhavethesamepropertiesforreplacement.Theburrshavethesameproperties.Inparticular,fortheimportantsafetypartsthatareindicatedbythez markonschematicdiagramsandpa
23、rtslists,besuretouse the designatedparts. Be sure to mount parts and arrange the wires as they were originally placed!Forsafetyseasons,somepartsusetapes,tubesorotherinsulatingmaterials,andsomepartsaremountedawayfromthesurfaceofprintedcircuitboards.Careisalsotakenwiththepositionsofthewiresbyarranging
24、themandusingclampstokeepthemawayfromheatingandhighvoltageparts,sobesuretoseteverythingbackasitwasoriginallyplaced. Make a safety check after servicing!Checkthatallscrews,partsandwiresremovedordisconnectedwhenservicinghavebeenputbackintheiroriginalpositions,checkthatnoservicedpartshavedeterioratethea
25、reaaround.Thenmakeaninsulation check on the external metal connectors and betweenthebladesofthepowerplug,andotherwisecheckthatsafetyisensured.(Insulationcheckprocedure)Unplugthepowercordfromthepoweroutlet,disconnecttheantenna,plugs,etc.,andonthepower.Using a 500V insulation resistance tester, check
26、that theinsulationresistancevaluebetweentheinplugandtheexternallyexposedmetalparts(antennaterminal,headphonesterminal,inputterminal,etc.)is1Morgreater.Ifitisless,thesetmustbeinspectedand repaired.Manyoftheelectricandthestructuralpartsusedinthesethavespecialsafetyproperties.Inmostcasestheseproperties
27、aredifficulttodistinguishbysight,andtheuseofreplacementpartswithhigherratings(ratedpowerandwithstandvoltage)doesnotnecessarilyguaranteethatsafetyperformancewillbepreserved.Partswithsafetypropertiesareindicatedasshownbelowonthewiringdiagramsandthepartslistinthisservicemanual.Besuretoreplacethemwithth
