When re

4、placing a component identified with, use only the replacement parts designated, or parts with the same ratings or resistance, wattage, or voltage that are designated in theparts list in this manual. Leakage-current or resistance measurements must be made to determine that exposed parts are acceptabl

5、yinsulated from the supply circuit before retuming the product to the customer.Some semiconductor (solid state) devices can be damaged easily by static electricity. Such components commonly are calledElectrostatically Sensitive (ES) Devices. Examples of typical ES devices are integrated circuits and

6、 some field effect transistors andsemiconductor chip components.The following techniques should be used to help reduce the incidence of component damage caused by static electricity.1. Immediately before handling any semiconductor component or semiconductor-equipped assembly, drain off any electrost

7、atic charge onyour body by touching a known earth ground. Alternatively, obtain and wear a commercially available discharging wrist strap device,which should be removed for potential shock reasons prior to applying power to the unit under test.2. After removing an electrical assembly equipped with E

8、S devices, place the assembly on a conductive surface such as aluminum foil, toprevent electrostatic charge build-up or exposure of the assembly.3. Use only a grounded-tip soldering iron to solder or unsolder ES devices.4. Use only an anti-static solder removal device. Some solder removal devices no

9、t classified as anti-static can generate electrical chargessufficient to damage ES devices.5. Do not use freon-propelled chemicals. These can generate electrical change sufficient to damage ES devices.6. Do not remove a replacement ES device from its protective package until immediately before you a

10、re ready to install it. (Most replacementES devices are packaged with leads electrically shorted together by conductive foam, aluminum foil or comparable conductive material.)7. Immediately before removing the protective material from the leads of a replacement ES device, touch the protective materi

11、al to thechassis or circuit assembly into which the device will be installed.Be sure no power is applied to the chassis or circuit, and observe all other safety precautions.8. Minimize bodily motions when handling unpackaged replacement ES devices. (Otherwise harmless motion such as the brushing tog

Inspect all lead dress to ma

13、ke certain thatleads are not pinched or that hardware is notlodged between the chassis and other metalpartsintheunit.2. Be sure that any protective devices such asnonmetallic control knobs, insulating fish-papers,cabinetbacks,adjustmentandcompartment covers or shields, isolationresistor-capacitynetw

14、orks,mechanicalinsulators, etc. Which were removed for theservicingareproperlyre-installed.Before returning the unit to the user, perform the following safety checks :3. Be sure that no shock hazard exists ; check for leakagecurrentusingSimpsonModel229LeakageTester,standardequipment item No. 21641,

15、RCA Model WT540A or usealternate method asfollows : Plug the power cord directlyInto a 120 volt AC receptacle (do not use an IsolationTransformer for this test). Using two clip leads, connect a1500ohms,10wattResistorparalleledbya0.15uFcapacitor,inserieswithallexposedmetalcabinetpartsandaknownearthgr

16、ound,suchas a water pipe or conduit. Use a VTVM or VOM with 1000 ohms per volt, or higher sensitivity to measure the AC voltage drop across theresistor. (See diagram) Move the resistor connection to each exposed metal part having a return path to the chassis (antenna, metal,cabinet,screwheads,knobsa

When the switch is pressedin, the unit is placed in a Standby

29、 mode, as indicatedby the amber Power Indicator 3 surrounding theSystem Power Control 2. This button MUST bepressed in to operate the unit. To turn the unit off andprevent the use of the remote control, this switchshould be pressed until it pops out from the frontpanel so that the word “OFF” may be

30、read at the topof the switch.NOTE: This switch is normally left in the “ON” position.2 System Power Control: When the Main PowerSwitch 1 is “ON,” press this button to turn on theAVR 7200; press it again to turn the unit off. Note thatthe Power Indicator 3 surrounding the switch willturn green when t

31、he unit is on.3 Power Indicator: This LED will be lit in amberwhen the unit is in the Standby mode to signal that theunit is ready to be turned on.When the unit is in oper-ation, the indicator will turn green.4 Headphone Jack: This jack may be used to listento the AVR 7200s output through a pair of

32、headphones.Be certain that the headphones have a standard 1/4stereo phone plug.The main room speakers will automatically be turned off when the headphone jack is in use.5 Tone Mode: This button allows you to remove thetone controls (Treble, Bass and Balance) from the signalpath.The first press of th

40、r mode group andwhether the input source is digital or analog. Forexample, press the Surround Mode Group Selector7 to select a major mode grouping such as Dolby orLogic 7, and then press this button to see the specificmode choices that are available.
