28、pply / general informationECO-PLUS NiMH battery information (for versions supplied with the rechargeable ECO-PLUS NiMH battery AY 3363)recharging works only on players supplied with the rechargeable ECO-PLUS NiMH battery AY 3363.recharging the ECO-PLUS NiMH battery on board1insert the rechargeable E

29、CO-PLUS NiMH battery AY 3363.2connect the mains adapter to the DC socket of the player and then tothe wall socket.yis pulsing. recharging stops after a maximum of7 hours, or when you start playback.3when the battery is fully recharged, appears in the display.notes: it is normal for the batteries to

30、become warm during recharging. if the batteries become too warm, recharging will be interrupted forapproximately 30 minutes andis displayed. to ensure proper recharging on board, take care that contacts are clean. use only the ECO-PLUS NiMH battery AY 3363.handling instructions recharging already ch

31、arged or half-charged batteries will shorten theirlifetime. we therefore recommend that you let the rechargeable ECO-PLUS NiMH battery run till it is completely empty before yourecharge it. to avoid a short circuit, do not let the battery touch any metal object. if the battery becomes empty soon aft

40、ntre pin) and the AY 3501 car cassette adapter.any other product may damage the set.1put the set on a horizontal, vibration-free andstable surface. make sure it is in a safe place,where the set is neither a danger nor an obstacle to the driver and the passengers.2plug the voltage converter into the

41、cigarettelighter socket (only for 12 V car battery, negative grounding), then connect the wiredend with 4.5V DC input socket on the set.3if necessary, clean the cigarette lighter socketto obtain a good electrical contact.4turn down the volume and connect the cassette adapter plug to p onthe set.5car

44、 a cdthis cd-player can play all kinds of audio discssuch as cd-recordables and cd-rewritables. donot try to play a cd-rom, CDi, VCD, DVD orcomputer cd.1push the slider to open the player.2insert an audio cd, printed side up, bypressing the cd onto the hub. 3close the player by pressing the lid down

45、.4press 2; to switch the player on and start playback.ythe current track number and elapsed playing time are displayed. indicator lightsup green. you can pause playback by pressing 2;.ythe time at which playback was pausedstarts flashing. indicator turns orange andflashes. you can continue playback

46、by pressing 2;again.5press 9 to stop playback.ythe total number of tracks and the totalplaying time of the cd are displayed.6press 9 again to switch the player off. indicatorlights up red and gradually turns off. to remove the cd, hold it by its edge and pressthe hub gently while lifting the cd.note

47、: if there is no activity, the set will automatically switch off after a while to saveenergy.playback information if a cd-recordable (CD-R) or a cd-rewritable(CD-RW) is not recorded properly,isdisplayed, indicating that the cd has not beenfinalized. in that case, use FINALIZE on yourcd recorder to c
