Careless handling duringrepair can reduce life drastically.When repairing, make sure that you are connected with thesame potential as the mass of the set via a wristband withresist

Make sure you remove the plug from theset and wal
32、l outlet before inserting batteries.Batteries (not included)Open the battery compartment and insert six batteries, type R-14, UM-2 or C-cells, (preferably alkaline) with the correctpolarity as indicated by the + and symbols inside thecompartment. (See 1)Replace the compartment door, making sure the
33、batteries arefirmly and correctly in place. The set is now ready to operate.Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should bedisposed of properly.Incorrect use of batteries can cause electrolyte leakage and will corrode the compartment or cause the batteries to burst:Do not mix battery types:
34、 e.g. alkaline with carbon zinc. Only usebatteries of the same type for the set.When inserting new batteries, do not try to mix old batterieswith the new ones.Remove the batteries if the set is not to be used for a long time.Using AC MainsCheck if the power/mains voltage, as shown on the typeplate l
35、ocated on the bottom of the set, corresponds to your local power supply. Ifit does not, consult your dealer or service center.Connect the power cord to the AC POWER/MAINS inlet andthe wall socket. The mains lead is now connected and ready foruse.To switch the set off completely, withdraw the power c
