On its attractive frontpanel most of the controls and switches are “touch pad” switchesand the tone, filter and

12、volume settings are shown by fluorescentdisplays.HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TA-AX44S CIRCUITASP (Audio Signal Processor) IC in the preamplifier stageSony has developed a new audio device, called the Audio SignalProcessor IC, which can digitally control the tone, filter and volumesettings. The ASP IC also per

13、mits electronic program source selection. Mechanical controls and switches have been practicallyeliminated from the front panel. In combination with a microcom-puter and a non-volatile memory IC, the ASP IC offers greater flex-ibility - an Acoustic Function, an ability to store and recall twosets of

14、 tonal adjustments.Legato linear power amplifier stageThe operation of the power amplifier stage is stable without anyobservable distortion up through the higher frequencies. We callthis power amp “Legato Linear” because its switching distortion isvery low and its output waveform smooth.Simple, stra

Check that the operating voltage o

19、f your unit is identical with thevoltage of your local power supply.? Should any liquid or solid object fall into the cabinet, unplug theunit and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating Itany further.? Unplug the unit from the wall outlet if it is not to be used for anextended period

20、 of time. To disconnect the cord, pull it out bygrasping the plug. Never pull the cord itself.On installation? Do not install the unit in a location near heat sources such asradiators or air ducts, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, ex-cessive dust, mechanical vibration or shock.? Good air ci

21、rculation is essential to prevent internal heat build-upin the unit. Place the unit in the location with adequate air circula-tion. Do not place the unit on a soft surface, such as a rug thatwould block the ventilation holes on the bottom.? DO not place anything on top of the cabinet. The top ventil

22、ationholes must be unobstructed for the proper operation of the unit andto prolong the life of its components.On operation? Before making program source connections, be sure to turn thepower switch off and unplug the unit.? Do not attempt to test the protection circuits by blocking the ven-tilation
