On its attractive frontpanel most of the controls and switches are “touch pad” switchesand the tone, filter and volume settings are shown by fluorescentdisplays.HIGHLIGHTS OF T

11、HE CIRCUITASP (Audio Signal Processor) IC in the preamplifier stageSony has developed a new audio device, called the Audio SignalProcessor which can digitally control the tone, filter and volumesettings. The ASP also permits electronic program source tion. Mechanical controls and switches have been

12、practicallyeliminated from the front panel. In combination with a microcom-puter and a non-volatile memory IC, the ASP IC offers greater flex-ibility an Acoustic Function, an ability to store and recall twosets of tonal adjustments.Legato linear power amplifier stageThe operation of the power amplif

13、ier stage is stable without anyobservable distortion up through the higher frequencies. We callthis power amp “Legato Linear” because its switching distortion isvery low and its output waveform smooth.Simple, straight signal path layoutA heat-pipe cooling system and the ASP layout near the inputand

Tape copy from tape recorder 2 to tape recorder 1 cannot bemade.You can
