、ING1.2 ABOUT VOLTAGE MONITORING1.3 NOTE ON REPLACEMENT OF THE FL DISPLAY IN THE PNLB ASSY For environmental protection, lead-free solder is used on the printed circuit boards mounted in this unit. Be sure to use lead-free solder and a soldering iron that can meet specifications for use with lead-fre

、e solders for repairs accompanied by reworking of soldering. Compared with conventional eutectic solders, lead-free solders have higher melting points, by approximately 40 C. Therefore, for lead-free soldering, the tip temperature of a soldering iron must be set to around 373 C in general, although

、the temperature depends on the heat capacity of the PC board on which reworking is required and the weight of the tip of the soldering iron.Do NOT use a soldering iron whose tip temperature cannot be controlled.Compared with eutectic solders, lead-free solders have higher bond strengths but slower w

、etting times and higher melting temperatures (hard to melt/easy to harden). The following lead-free solders are available as service parts: Parts numbers of lead-free solder: GYP1006 1.0 in dia. GYP1007 0.6 in dia. GYP1008 0.3 in dia. This unit always monitors for power failure and will shut itself of

、ccording to “5.5 ABOUT VOLTAGE MONITORING.”The fluorescent (FL) display on the control panel is attached to the board, using double-back tape. When replacing the FL display, new double-back tape is required. This part is not supplied as a service part, but we recommend using double-back tape (part N

、o. GYH1033) as a general-purpose part for service. You can also use the double-back tape specified below, if available: Manufacturer: 3M, Tape width: 5 mm, Model No.: Y-4300K-08 and Y-4609 Or, tape that uses acrylic foam as a base material, with tape thickness of 0.8 mm, and with the peel force in 9

、0 orientation (glass) of 20 N/cm or greaterThree pieces of double-back tape with the size of 5 mm 30 mm are required. First attach the pieces of tape to the places on the back of the FL display, as shown in the figure below, then attach it to the board. Be careful when working with double-back tape,
