Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor may bedamaged by heat.Flexible Circuit Board Repairing Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around 270 Cduring repairing. Do not touch the soldering iron on the same conductor of thecircuit board (w
7、ithin 3 times). 16、OW TO OPEN THE DISC TRAY WHEN POWERSWITCH TURNS OFFInsert a tapering driver into the aperture of the unit bottom, and turnin the direction of arrow.Use a flat (-) head screwdriver to open the disc tray by manualoperation. (Flat head screwdriver with nominal blade length of3mm.)* To close the disc ta

18、 before releasing the set to the customer:Check the antenna terminals, metal trim, “metallized” knobs, screws,and all other exposed metal parts for AC leakage.Check leakage as described below.LEAKAGE TESTThe AC leakage from any exposed metal part to earth ground andfrom all exposed metal parts to an
19、y exposed metal part having areturn to chassis, must not exceed 0.5 mA (500 microamperes.).Leakage current can be measured by any one of three methods.1.A commercial leakage tester, such as the Simpson 229 or RCAWT-540A. Follow the manufacturers instructions to use theseinstruments.2.A battery-opera
20、ted AC milliammeter. The Data Precision 245digital multimeter is suitable for this job.3.Measuring the voltage drop across a resistor by means of aVOM or battery-operated AC voltmeter. The “limit” indicationis 0.75 V, so analog meters must have an accurate low-voltagescale. The Simpson 250 and Sanwa
21、 SH-63Trd are examplesof a passive VOM that is suitable. Nearly all battery operateddigital multimeters that have a 2 V AC range are suitable. FL Tube Grid, Segments CheckProcedure:1.Grid of all segments lights up sequentially starting from 1G to16G.2.The vertical line (total 5 lines) of all g
32、rids lights up sequentiallyin the range of 5G to 16 G starting from the left.3.The horizontal line of (total 7 lines) of all grids lights upsequentially in the range of 5G to 16G starting from the top.3. Sircs Receive CheckProcedure:1.The message “SIRCS CHECK” is displayed on the fluorecentindicator
33、 tube.2.With the machine in the status that is set in step 2, press anyon the remote commander. The machine enters the key checkstandby state. (When the H key or the x key is pressed,the reception check is canceled.)4. Key CheckProcedure:1.In the key check mode, the fluorecent indicator displays “KE
34、YCHECK*”. Each time a button is pressed, “*” value.However, once a button is pressed, it is no longer taken intoaccount.2.To exit from this mode, the message “JOG CHECK” isdisplayed.5. Jog CheckProcedure:1. After the key check is completed, turn JOG clockwise to turnon the calendar segments sequenti
35、ally. When the segment “15”is confirmed, turn JOG counter-clockwise that turns off thecalendar segment. When the segment “1” is confirmed, this isthe end of check.6. Releasing Meted of Test Mode1.After all the checks are completed, confirm to see that thedisplay “TEST-END” appears. The message indic
