ONLY)BEFORE RETURNING THE AUDIO PRODUCT(Fire & Shock Hazard)Before returning the audio product to the user, perform thefollowing safety checks.1. Inspect all lead dress to make certain that leads are notpi

6、nched or that hardware is not lodged between the chassisand other metal parts in the audio product.2. Inspect all protective devices such as insulating materials,cabinet, terminal board, adjustment and compartment coversor shields, mechanical insulators etc.3. To be sure that no shock hazard exists,

7、 check for leakagecurrent in the following manner.* Plug the AC line cord directly into a 120 volt AC outlet.* Using two clip leads, connect a 1.5k ohm, 10 watt resistorparalleled by a 0.15F capacitor in series with all exposedmetal cabinet parts and a known earth ground, such asconduit or electrica

8、l ground connected to earth ground.* Use a VTVM or VOM with 1000 ohm per volt, or higher,sensitivity to measure the AC voltage drop across theresistor (See diagram).* Connect the resistor connection to all exposed metal partshaving a return path to the chassis (antenna, metal cabinet,screw heads, kn

9、obs and control shafts, escutcheon, etc.)and measure the AC voltage drop across the resistor.All check must be repeated with the AC line cord plug connectionreversed.Any reading of 0.3 volt RMS (this corresponds to 0.2 milliamp.AC.) or more is excessive and indicates a potential shockhazard which mu

26、 microcomputer under the following conditions:G To erase all of the stored memory contents (clock and timersettings, and tuner and CD presets).G If the display is not correct.G If the operation is not correct.1Press the ON/STAND-BY button to enter the stand-by mode.2While pressing down the button an

27、d the X-BASS/DEMObutton, hold down the ON/STAND-BY button for at least 1second.G CLEAR AL will appear.Caution:G The operation explained above will erase all data stored inmemory including clock and timer settings, and tuner and CDpresets.SETTING THE CLOCK POWER ON/ STAND-BYCLOCKMEMORY/SETTUNING/TIME
