When theswitch is pressed in, the unit is placed in aStandby mode
23、, as indicated by the amberPower Indicatorsurrounding theSystem Power Control. This buttonMUST be pressed in to operate the unit. Toturn the unit off and prevent the use of theremote control, this switch should be presseduntil it pops out from the front panel so thatthe word “OFF” may be read at the
24、 top of theswitch.NOTE: This switch is normally left in the “ON”position.System Power Control: When theMain Power Switchis “ON,” pressthis button to turn on the DVD600II; press itagain to turn the unit off. Note that the PowerIndicatorin the center of the switchwill turn green when the unit is on.Po
25、wer Indicator: This LED will be illu-minated in amber when the unit is in theStandby mode to signal that the unit is readyto be turned on. When the unit is in operation,the indicator will turn green.Disc Tray: Holds up to five DVD or CDdiscs that can be played one at a time in theDVD600II.Disc Skip:
26、 Press twice in quick succes-sion to change the disc being played. This willmove the tray forward to the next occupiedposition, skipping over the empty-disc positions.Search Forward/Reverse: Press tomove forward or backward through a disc atone of four speeds. Each press and release willincrease the
27、 search speed, as indicated in theon-screen display. Once you have selected thedesired speed, release the button and the discwill continue to search at fast speed. Toresume normal playback speed, press the Play Button .Open/Close Button: Press to open orclose the Disc Tray . Upon closing thedisc tra
28、y, the On Screen Library system willbegin to identify all loaded discs.Skip Forward/Reverse: Press to moveforward or backward through the music tracksor chapters on a disc.Stop: Press once to place the disc in theResume mode, which means that playback willstop, but (as long as the tray is not opened
29、 orthe disc changed) DVD playback will continuefrom the same point on the disc when the Playbutton is pressed again. Resume will also workif the unit was turned off. To stop a disc andhave play start from the beginning, press thebutton twice.Play/Pause: Press to begin playback ofa disc, or to moment
30、arily pause playback. If aDVD is playing, action will freeze and a stillpicture will be displayed when the button ispressed. Direct Access Buttons: Press one ofthese buttons to play any of the five discsloaded in the Disc Tray.Information Display: This display con-tains a variety of indicators that
31、provide infor-mation about the status of the DVD600IIandthe disc currently playing.Display Dim: Press this button to adjustthe brightness of the Information Display by50% or to turn the display off completely in thefollowing order: FULL BRIGHTNESS HALFBRIGHTNESS OFF FULL BRIGHTNESS.Remote Sensor: Th

Note that if a disc is added to orremoved from the tray while a disc is playing,the indicator will not show the change until alldiscs are cycled. Title: Shows the DVD title nu
34、mber currentlyplaying.Chapter/Track Number: Shows the current chapter (DVD) or current track number (CD).Program Time: Shows the running timeof a DVD; current track time; time remainingin the current track; or the total remaining timeof a CD. NOTE: The Program Time Indicators will alsodisplay text m
35、essages about the DVD600IIsstatus, including Reading when a disc isloading, Bye when the unit is turned off, andDisc Error when a disc not compatiblewith the DVD600IIis put into the play position. Intro: Lights when the IntroScan functionis active.Program: Lights during programming.Repeat: Lights to
36、 indicate any of theRepeat modes.Random: Lights when the unit is in theRandom Play mode.Resume: Lights when the Stop button hasbeen pressed once to put the unit in theResume mode.Playback Mode: Lights to show the cur-rent playback mode: Lights when a disc is playing in the Normalmode. 37、e disc is in the Fast SearchForward mode. For DVDs, when both trianglesglow steadily, the disc plays at 2x normalspeed. When the right triangle is flashing, thedisc plays at 4x normal speed. When the lefttriangle is flashing, the disc plays at 8x normalspeed. When both triangles are flashing, thedis
38、c plays at 16x normal speed. For CDs, onlythe first three Fast Search modes are available. Lights when the disc is paused. Lights when the disc is in the Fast SearchReverse mode. Notethat the component video inputs may belabeled as Y/Pr/Pb or Y/Cr/Cb but, for connec-tio

The outputsof these jacks should NOT be connected to astandard composite video input.S-Video Output: Connect this jack to theS-Video input on a television or video projector,or to an S-Video input on an A/V receiver orprocessor if you are using that type of devicefor S
43、-Video input switching.Composite Video Output: Connect thisjack to the video input on a television or videoprojector, or to a video input on an A/V receiveror processor if you are using that type ofdevice for video input switching.Coaxial Digital Output: Connect this jackto the coaxial digital input
44、 of an A/V receiveror surround processor for Dolby Digital, DTS orPCM audio playback. NOTE: The coaxial digital output should onlybe connected to a digital input. Even though itis the same RCA-type connector as standardanalog audio connections, DO NOT connect itto a conventional analog input jack.Re
45、mote Control Output: Connect thisjack to the infrared (IR) input jack of anotherJBL (or other compatible) remote-controlledproduct to have the built-in Remote Sensoron the DVD600IIprovide IR signals toother compatible products.Remote Control Input: Connect the out-put of a remote infrared sensor, or
46、 the remotecontrol output of another JBL (or other compat-ible) product, to this jack. This will enable theremote control to operate even when the frontpanel Remote Sensor is blocked. Thisjack may also be used with compatible IRremote control-based automation systems.AC Power Cord: Connect this plug
47、 to an AC outlet. If the outlet is controlled by aswitch, make certain that it is in the ON position.DVD600IIRear Panel Connections DVD600II DVD600II 10Remote Control FunctionsIMPORTANT NOTE: The remote control forthe JBL Cinema ProPack 600IImay be pro-grammed to control up to eight devices, includ-
48、ing the DCR600IIand DVD600II. It is helpful tothink of the remote as being organized into“pages,” with one page for each device.Depending on which device has been selected,the buttons on that devices page will performdifferent functions, as listed starting on thispage. These functions may vary from
49、the labelson the remote, and from one device to thenext. Some buttons may perform no functionat all for a given device.In order to go to the page for a particulardevice, such as the DVD600II, you will need topress the Input Selector button for that device(DVD in this case), located in a grouping jus
50、tbelow the power buttons. The remote will thenfunction as if it were dedicated to the DVD600II.If you would like to make an adjustment thataffects the DCR600IIreceiver, such as turningthe volume up or down, you must first go tothe page for the DCR600IIby pressing its InputSelector button. This butto
