Double-trackrecordingis used, giving two full leng
2、th recordings on asingle reel of Tape. Any size up to 7 can be used. Two neon recording indicators simplify therecordinglevelsetting. Newrecordingscanbemade on previously recorded tape since the eraseheadisautomaticallypositionedwhentheRecordbutton is pressed or the same recording may beplayed back
3、indefinitely. Recordings can be made from a radio, television receiver, or phono-graph, in addition to those made directly from the microphone. Recordings can be played backthroughtheself-containedspeakers, or an external speaker through use of the External SpeakerJack-Using both channels of the tap

Removethe AC power cord, b reel of tape,emptyreelandthe microphone from the storage com_partment.2. Depress the Stop button.3. Plug the AC cord
7、 into a convenient wall re_ceptacle of the proper rating.4 Set speed change knob to ?. b0 or 3. ?b as de_sired.5. Place Remote- Normal switch in Normalposition.CAUTION: Do not turn speed change knob unless Stopbutton is depressed.When the Forward or Reverse buttons are de-pressed, the Record and Pla
8、y buttons are locked so thatthey cannot be pressed down, with the possibility ofspilling tape. The buttons should always be presseddown firmly until they latch and the Stop button mustbe depressed before changingfunctions or speeds of therecorder.IMPORTANT: Always depress the Stop button whenthe mac
9、hine is not in use.Page 2Speed Change KnobThearrowonthe speed change knob should pointal 7.50 or 3. ?5 according to the speed desired. Thisrecorderhastwospeeds, 7 l/2 and3 3/4per secondThearrowpointingat 7.50 means the unit will operateat the fast speed or 7 L/2, per second.CAUTION: Turningthe speed
10、 change knob white the unitis operating will not change the speed.TheStop button rnust be depressed before thdspeed can be changed.Threading The Tape-1. Place a full reel of tape on the left (suppiy)spindle. making certain one of the reel slots catch theprotrusions of the pan. Unwind about 14r of ta
11、pe fromthe supply reel.2. Insert free section of tape into the tape slot.3. Insert free end of tape into one of the threeslots in the hub of the right (take-up) reel and whileholdingthe tape inplace givethe reeltwo or three turnsuntil the tape is secured.4. The dull side of the tape should always fa
12、ceaway from the operator (rear of unit).To Record From Microphone-1.
