These are often notevident from visual inspection nor can the protection afforded by them necessarily be obtained by usingreplacement components rated for a higher voltage, wattage, etc. Replacement parts which have thesespecial safety characteristics are identified in this Service

15、Manual. Electrical components having suchfeatures are identified by marking with a on the schematics and the parts list in this Service Manual. The use of a substitute replacement component which does not have the same safety characteristicsas the HITACHI recommended replacement one, shown in the par

29、Notes When Using Service Manual2 - 1General Description2-1 OverviewModel DV-RF7U is a multi-drive DVD recorder with VCR: It can record on DVD-RAM, DVD-RWand DVD-R discs and play them back. The DV-RF7U can handle DVD-RW discs for recording and playback in Video format and VR (VideoRecording) format, a

30、nd DVD-RAM discs of both cartridge type (12 cm) and non-cartridge type. The DV-RF7U can play back 8 cm DVD-R discs recorded on Hitachi DVD video camera/recorderseven when they are not yet finalized: It also has a DV input jack with which digital dubbing ispossible from digital video cameras. The DV-RF

31、7U also allows one-button dubbing from VHS videotape to DVD, and vice versa.2-1-1 Service methodBasically, components are replaced when servicing the DV-RF7U. However, the service method isdifferent for high-density packaging PCBs and precision components.Refer to the following table and perform the
