6、 the customer:Check the antenna terminals, metal trim, “metallized” knobs, screws,and all other exposed metal parts for AC leakage. Check leakage asdescribed below.LEAKAGEThe AC leakage from any exposed metal part to earth Ground andfrom all exposed metal parts to any exposed metal part having aretu
7、rn to chassis, must not exceed 0.5 mA (500 microampers). Leak-age current can be measured by any one of three methods.1. A commercial leakage tester, such as the Simpson 229 or RCAWT-540A. Follow the manufacturers instructions to use theseinstruments.2. A battery-operated AC milliammeter. The Data P
8、recision 245digital multimeter is suitable for this job.3. Measuring the voltage drop across a resistor by means of a VOMor battery-operated AC voltmeter. The “limit” indication is 0.75V, so analog meters must have an accurate low-voltage scale.The Simpson 250 and Sanwa SH-63Trd are examples of a pa
9、s-sive VOM that is suitable. Nearly all battery operated digitalmultimeters that have a 2V AC range are suitable. (See Fig. A)Notes on chip component replacement Never reuse a disconnected chip component. Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor may bedamaged by heat.ATTENTION AU COMPOSANT

ALL CLEAR 3/5 will be displayed on the fluorescent indicatortube, and ALL CLEAR will be executed.FACTORY SETMode wh

With the power turned OFF, press the POWER button whilepressing the MODE button and AUDIO FUNCTION buttonsimultaneously to turn ON the power.2. FACTORY SET will be displayed on t
15、he fluorescent indicatortube, and FACTORY SET will be executed.Note: In case you return the unit to the customer, do not performFACTRY SET. If you do it, perform ALL CLEAR.Fluorescent indicator tube, LED all lit modeProcedure:1. With the power turned OFF, press the POWER button whilepressing the MOD
16、E button and VIDEO FUNCTION buttonsimultaneously to turn ON the power.2. The fluorescent display tubes and LEDs will all light up. Re-lease the buttons in the order of VIDEO FUNCTION , andMODE .3. The Fluorescent indicator tube display changes as follows bypressing the DPC MODE .(Pressing the other
17、buttons will exit this mode.)SECTION 1SERVICING NOTEAdjustment of OSD Screen PositionThe position of the screen can be adjusted freely to correct the de-viation of the OSD screen caused by the monitor type that users areusing.1. Move the cursor of the remote commander supplied as an acces-sory, and
18、display the OSD screen.2. Click the SET UP of the OSD screen.3. Next click TV SET.4. Next click GRAPHIC POSITION SET.5. The screen for adjusting the OSD screen position will be dis-played. Adjust the position with the remote commander suppliedas an accessory.6. Click EXIT to end.AM Tuning Step 9 kHz
19、/10 kHz SelectionMethod:1. Turn ON the power, set the AUDIO FUNCTION to AM, andturn OFF the power.2. 25、osis Mode for Servicing/Display of DSPErrors3-1. Self-diagnosis Mode for ServicingBefore entering the test mode, DSP self-diagnosis program for ser-vicing will be run. When an error is detected:The error message is displayed on the fluorescent display tube.When several errors occur at the same time,
26、 only the last errordetected will be displayed. 30、t.(Refer to Servicing note on page 4)Connection:Procedure:1. Press the POWER button and turn ON the power.2. The OSD function frame will be displayed on the monitor. Thisscreen will disappear in a few seconds automatically when theinput of codes using the remote commander stops.If it disappears duri
31、ng adjustments, move the cursor of the re-mote commander supplied as an accessory. The screen will ap-pear again.3. While watching the monitor screen, adjust CT201 of the OSD(V) board so that the following adjustment standard is satisfied.OSD COLOR BURST AdjustmentConnection:Procedure:1. Without any
32、thing connected to the external input terminal, pressthe POWER button and turn ON the power.2. Adjust CT202 of the OSD (V) board so that the reading on thefrequency counter becomes 3.579545 MHz 10 MHz.OSD PICTURE AdjustmentConnection:Connection 1:MONITOR OUTSETMonitorAdjustment standard:Adjust so th
33、at the width B becomes one and a half times of width A.1.5A = BNOTE:Extra margin is provided in this adjustment in consideration of thedeviation of the screen according to the type of monitor used.Consequently, the user is able to adjust the position of the screenfreely. 36、 of the OSD (V) boardso that the light dots converge in the BLUE area.4. Connect a dynamic picture video device to the external inputterminal (VIDEO 1 IN jack) of this unit (Connection 2).5. Press the VIDEO FUNCTION button and set the input sourceto VIDEO 1.6. Move the cursor of the remote commander
37、 supplied as an acces-sory provided, and display the OSD function frame.7. Observe the vectorscope. Check that the light dots in the BLUErange and the light dots adjusted at 3 are coinciding.8. If they do not coincide, disconnect the external video device,and adjust RV201 of the OSD (V) board again.
