3、TIONS i PRECAUTIONS RWARNING HIGH VOLTAGE! NEVERat- tach an antenna or internal antenna connector during transmission. This may result in an electric shock or burn. RNEVERapply AC to the DC13.8V jack on the transceiver rear panel. This could cause a fi re or ruin the transceiver. RNEVERapply more th

RNEVERlet metal, wire or other objects touch any internal part or connectors on the rear panel of the transceiver. This may result in an electric shock. NEVERexpos
5、e the transceiver to rain, snow or any liquids. AVOID using or placing the transceiver in areas with temperatures below 10C (+14F) or above +60C (+140F). Be aware that temperatures on a vehicles dashboard can exceed 80C (+176F), resulting in per- manent damage to the transceiver if left there for ex

This will obstruct heat dissipation. During mobile operation, DO NOT operate the trans- ceiver without
7、 running the vehicles engine. When the transceiver power is ON and your vehicles engine is OFF, the vehicles battery will soon become ex- hausted. Make sure the transceiver power is OFF before start- ing the vehicle. This will avoid possible damage to the transceiver by ignition voltage spikes. Duri
8、ng maritime mobile operation, keep the transceiver and microphone as far away as possible from the mag- netic navigation compass to prevent erroneous indica- tions. BE CAREFUL! The heatsink will become hot when op- erating the transceiver continuously for long periods. BE CAREFUL! If a linear amplif
9、ier is connected, set the transceivers RF output power to less than the lin- ear amplifi ers maximum input level, otherwise, the lin- ear amplifi er will be damaged. Use Icom microphones only (supplied or optional). Other manufacturers microphones have different pin assignments, and connection to th
