TS-670 CIRCUITDESCRIPTION DIGITALCONTROLCIRCUIT The controllerof the TS-670uses two 8-bit microprocessors (/lPD8049HC-092,andTMP8049P-3034),andits peripheralcircuitsconsistofthreeI/OexpanderICs (/lPD8243C),externallyconnectedRAM(/lPD444C),etc. The two CPUs are connectedwi

7、theach other via 4-bit data bus and 2-bit controlbus for data interchange. Themicroprocessorclockoperatesat 8.1 MHz,whichis oscillatedby CPU-S (IC19). The clock pulse is also fed to the other CPU-M (IC16). The CPU-M (IC16) performsdecisionand arithmeticopera- tions with which to select the operating

8、state of the unit, using the data fromvarious switcheson the panel and encoders, etc., determiningthe operatingfrequenciesand modes.The determinedfrequenciesandmodedataare storedin the externallyconnectedRAM(IC18)andat thesametime transferredto the CPU-S (IC19). To the CPU-M,the I/O expanderIC17 is

9、connected,from whichcontrolsignals for various indicatorsare output and to whichdata from the keyboardswitcheson the front panel is input in matrixed form. TheCPU-Sprovides the digitalfrequencydisplay based on the input frequency and mode data, and calculates frequency dividingratio for each PLL cir

10、cuit,then set data at PLL ICs (IC3, IC4 and IC13). At the same time, in order to control the /lPA80CMAXRating Table 5 FM crystal filterCFV455F(L72-0342-05) (FM UNIT. CF1) external circuits,the CPU-S also outputs mode data and band data. The band data is output in 5-bit data consisting of 4-bit BCD a

11、nd1 bit.The 4-bitBCD datais fed throughIC22 (SN74LS145N)where it is divided into 10 bands, and a total of ll-banddata is output. The encoderinput circuitconsists of the OR, exclusive NOR andNANDgates of IC23,IC24 and IC25;the input250 pulses/revolutionclockrate is multipliedby 4 to become 1000pulses

12、. The IC25 (TC4011 BP) flip-flopcircuitdetects the directionof revolutionof the rotary encoder. Thenon-stablemultivibratorIC26(TC4011 BP)isan oscillatorycircuitfor frequencyshift by the mic UPIDOWN switchand operatesat approx.55 Hz; this oscillatoryfre- quency determinesthe shift speed. However,a l-

13、stepfeed has nothing to do with this oscillator but is internally process- ed by the microprocessor. The RIT and IF shift of the TS-670 are varied by using poten- tiometers;these can be varied digitally in 10Hzsteps. In RIT mode,theactualfrequencyis alsodisplayed.TheDC voltages preset by potentiomet

14、ersare divided into approx. 0 to 2.5 V by voltage dividers, then input to the AID converter (IC15:MB4052)wherethe signals are convertedinto the 8-bit (256 steps) data before being input to the CPU-S, vary- ing the frequencydividingratio of the PLL circuit for control. /lPA80C Block diagram 0,0,0,GND
