The ISR 9220 MX range complies with the European regulations and with ETS 300 086, ETS 300 113 and ETS 300 279 Telecommunica- tion Standards for electro-magnetic compati- bility. Ergonomics The terminal interface consists in a lar

3、ge, clear back-lit display on which the user can easily read short data messages. This screen is the most complete one available, very user-friendly with its roll-down menus and programmable software keys. Self-explanatory icons constantly display the incoming signal strength and volume. Encryption

4、In order to secure the user, an encryption module can be added to reach the highest level of confi- dentiality. Protection against unauthorized use System access is controlled by authentication mechanisms. In case of loss or theft, the terminal can be disabled by remote control. Customization The 92

5、20 MX can be configured as a desktop unit or as an extractable car radio with automatic switching and locking. Its very simple to customize the terminal with a standard PC, for particular user application and network configuration. Trunk and direct mode The terminal provides both direct mode and tru

6、nk operation using the radio communication infra- structure. It complies with signalling standards: 5 tones, CCIR, ZVEI 1 & 2, CTCSS on conventional net- works. The 9220 HX supports every major protocol: MPT 1327, 1343, Regionet 43, SP/DRG/R.RS/3 on trunk networks. In addition, it provides data tran

7、smission protocol MAP 27 and trunk network key functionalities as FOACSU / OACSU and Vote Now Advice (VNA). Data transmission The 9230 MX allows any type of data exchange when connected to a PC. Telephone access Dialling a one-digit prefix provides PABX / PSTN communications. Emergency operation A d
