36、tedat50Hzwitha10%dutycycleismeasuredwiththe averagingfactorsetto128,themeasuredpowerreadingwillbe10%ofthepeakpowerduringpulseON periods.Ifthesignalismodulatedatalowpulserate(belowabout1kHz),theGT8550Awill synchronizethereadingspreciselywiththestartofapulsesothateachdisplayedreadingisaveraged overawh
37、olenumberofpulses(therearenofractionalpulsesincludedinthemeasurement).This eliminatesasignificantamountofnoisefromthereadings.However,eventhoughthefiltersettlingtime hasbeensettoalongtimeconstantof2.56seconds,theupdaterateofthereadingwillbemuchfaster; eventhefirstreadingwillbeveryclosetothefullysett
38、ledvalue. 2.4.5 PulseAveragePower(PAP) ThePulseAveragePower(PAP)modeissimilartotheMAPmode,butitmeasurespulsemodulated signalshavingaknowndutycycle.SpecifythisdutycycleandtheGT8550Awillautomaticallycorrect themeasurementssothatthedisplayedreadingsindicatethepeakRFpowerduringpulseONperiods. Forexample,whenmeasuringapulsemodulatedsignalwith50%dutycycle,MAPmodewouldgivea reading3dBlowerthanthereadingthatwouldbegiven
