The heritage is preserved through a commitment to return to the quality that is part of their legacy. Ludwig got my

2、attention by making gear today the way they did in the gilded age of drums. Theyve preserved the Ludwig Sound that Ive come to know for many years, through versatile instruments with a wide, easy tuning range that sound great out of the box. That characteristic Ludwig Sound is in both the Legacy and

3、 Classic Maple drums; though they are two completely different-sounding instruments. That is very appealing to me, but then they did one better: with the flexibility of new Atlas hardware. My very first real drum set was a blue Vistalite kit, and it set me on the path for seeking sonic perfection. I need something that combines

6、 raw, very gritty, sloppy sound with an honest, human touch. At the end of the day, Im a breakbeat-based drummer, and Ive never gotten better grit than I do with Ludwig.
