SPEAKER PLACEMENT 1.Two of the satellite speakers should be symmetrically positioned on each side of your computer video monitor to balance the sound in the front soundstage. All satellite speakers are magnetically shielded, and should no

Avoid putting the speakers on the floor as this impairs the rear sound field and doesnt provide a seamless sense of

The front and center speaker interconnects are four meters in length. The rear speaker interconnects are six meters in length. SIGNAL CONNECTION FIVE- CHANNELDISCRET
37、E CHANNELCONNECTION (5.1 SOUNDCARD) 1. The stereo mini- plug cables send the proper front, center, subwoofer and rear (surround) signals to the amplifier housed in the subwoofer. Plug the cables into the jacks marked INPUTS on the ProMedia 5.1s subwoofer panel. Use the GREEN plug in the FRONT L/R ja

Route the other end of these cables into the 2- , 4- , or 5.1- channel soundcard output jacks on the rear of your PC. Connect the GREEN plug to soundcard output number one for the front signals, the BLACK plug to out
39、put number two for the rear (surround) channels, and the ORANGE plug for center and subwoofer signals. This will ensure that all channel signals are positioned and routed properly. NOTE: If you have a two- channel soundcard, do not connect the BLACK or ORANGE signal cables to the amplifier panel. If
40、 you are using a four- channel soundcard, do not connect the ORANGE signal cable to the amplifier panel. Since the unused channels will not amplify any signals, you dont need to connect the center speaker, or for a two- channel soundcard, the rear speakers. 2. Connect the control tower cable, which
41、has the round DIN multi- pin plug, into the ProMedia 5.1 subwoofer panel connector marked VOLUME CONTROL. Ensure that the flat side of the plug is facing up. 3. One of the six amplifier channels powers the subwoofer itself, while the other five amplifier sections feed the satellite and center speake

The front and center satellite speaker interconnects are four meters long, and the rear satellite speaker interconnects are s
43、ix meters long. The wire ends attach to the amplifier and satellite speakers to allow for speaker wire upgrades if desired. Be sure to observe the polarity (+/- ) settings at each tinned wire end for connection. To ensure proper bass response and aural imaging, it is VERY IMPORTANT that all of the p
44、ositive terminals are connected in proper polarity. In other words, avoid having the positive (+) bare lead from a satellite speaker connected to the negative (- ) terminal on the subwoofer enclosure. Route the speaker cables safely, to avoid a tripping danger. SPEAKER CONNECTION 1. Connect mini plu
