11、ntoanyWindows application. CaptureWaverunner front panel setups andstorethem on thecomputer withalengthyfilename. You canthentransfer them backinto thescopetoreproduceanidentical setup. Andwhenever acommunicationerror occurs, it gives theadditional message“RemoteControl: problem detectedandlogged.” 1.Press

17、CII Whenyousavewaveforms toaWaverunner internal memory(M1, M2, M3, or M4)yousavethem inLeCroys special binaryformat. But youcanalso storeyour waveforms in ASCII format toaportablestoragedevice suchas floppydisk, PC memorycardor harddiskcard. Youcanthentransfer thedatatoaPC for analysis with spreadsh
18、eet or mathsoftware. Indoingthis youwill createanoutput filerequiring1020 times thediskspaceof theoriginal LeCroybinary file. A one-megabyterecordwill typicallytakeup1315 MB whenstoredinASCII. AndASCII waveforms cannot berecalledbackintothescope. TheWaverunner stores waveforms inanyof threeASCII for
19、mats: Spreadsheet, MathCad, or MATLAB. The followingtablesummarizes theformat of thethreebasic layouts.
