Transmitter testing To test a mobile radio transmitter, the Service Monitor produces an AF signal, which is fed to the AF inputofthe transmitter. The RF output from the transmitter is fed to the Service Monitor, usually by direct connection. Freq

The crystal

A frequency offset is applied from the frequency standard adjustment screen, accessed by using the HELPISETUPJ.Calibrate, Freq Stnd, key sequence. A security code restricts the useoftheCalibratekey.
