Whenmakingmeasurementsfromalowimpedancesource,shielded leadswillreducetheinducedpickup. Ifmeasurementsaremadefromahighimpedancesource,stray pickupcanalsoaffectthemeterindication.Shieldedlea

39、dswill reducethepickup,butatthesametimetheshieldingwillincrease thecapacityshuntedacrossthesource,andmaycauseexcessive circuitloadingathighfrequencies.Inthecaseoflowlevelmeas- urementstheuseofanoscilloscopeisrecommendedtomonitor thewaveformsundertest.
