ThemeterisconnectedasaDCmilliam= metertomeasurethecurrentdrawnbythe switchingtubes(V4,V5)oThecurrentis adjustedbymeansoftheCALIBRATEcon= trolsothatthemeterpointercoincideswith thecalibrationmark(C)onthemeterscale.
