Thisbuttonappliesatwomillivoltcalibrationsignaltothe inputcircuitoftheinstrument. Thisswitchattenuatestheinputsignalby thefollowing accuratelyfixedfactors:1,2,5,10,20,50, 100,200,500

Thisswitchinsertsavoltageofthecorrectpolaritytooff- setthezerolineforrecordingsmallvoltagesinacircuit whichmaybeatahighvoltagelevel.Amethodofchecking thetwozerosuppressioncellsbycomparingtheiroutput voltagesisprovided. Thiscontroldeterminesthe amountofinputvoltagesuppressed. Thisconne

ConnectingtheinputandstartingthePreamplifier:involvesmakingtheinputconnectionsandturning onthePreamplifierfor w.arm-up. BalancingthePreamplifier:avoidsoverloadingthestabilizingamplif

32、ier. CalibratingthePreamplifier:adjuststheoverallbasicsensitivitytoexactlyonecentimeterdeflection permillivoltinput.
