This manual contains information required to install and service the Hewlett-Packard Model 78525 Arrhyth- mia Monitoring

The 78525 Arrhythmia Monitoring System with Recall and Editisnormally interfaced to either a 78501or 78502 Central Station ( ee Figure1-2and 1-3);itcan alsobelinkedto a780 SeriesCentral StationorPDMS (Patient Da

40、ta Management System), depending on system requirements. The system accepts amplified ECG signals from an assortmentofbedside monitoring devices, analyzes the waveforms, and displays the resultsofthese analyses. Up to eight bedsides may be connected to a standard system, or optionally up to16bedside

41、s (maximum) by adding additional units to the system. Pace pulsesaswellasnatural ECG signals are detected, and the complete QRS complexisexamined and compared to an automatically determinedlearnedrhythm from each patient. Noise elements are filtered outofthe received signals, allowing detectionofsev

42、eral typesofarrhythmias. Analyzed information for each patientiscontinually updated and stored, allowing medical personnel to selectfrom a varietyof information displays which indicate patient status, both current and for the past 24 hours. 1-6. A three-level alarm systemintantly alerts the medical

43、staff to significant changesinany patients condition. The alarm indications enable effective emergency procedurestobegin immediately, ifrequired. Alarm indications are.also updated and stored regularly providing a displayofthe last16alarm history events for every patient. 1-7. The Recall and Edit st

44、ation provides trend displaysofthe most recent 24 hoursofarrhythmia data for each patient. Segmentsofthe arrhythmia trends canberecalled for detailed examination by a clinician, who may elect to edit and modify a particular beat classification that was determinedbythe system. Arrhythmias detected an

45、d classified by the ystem program maybechanged to Normal, Supraventricular, Ventricular Premature, Paced, No Beat, or Unknown. Another display at the Recall and Edit station provides information relating to patient census, allowing an operator to enter data whichispertinenttotracking each patients p
