22、sof reversiblepolarityare providedforsynchronizing external circuitsorinstruments.The Model2118SquareWave Generator (hereafter referredtoastheModel 2118)isa free-running instrument.Itmaybesynchronizedwithan external sjgnal. The frequencyrangeoftheModel 2118is from1 Hzto10 MHz when terminated in a 50
23、-ohm load. The amplitudeofthe signalisvariablefrom0voltto-5 voltswithanadjustable pulsewidthof25%to75%ofthe period. The risetime orfalltimeoftheoutputpulseisless than 5 nanoseconds. When theoutputoftheinstrumentis terminated in a 600-ohm load, the frequency rangeisfrom 1 Hzto1 MHzwitha variable ampl
24、itudefrom0voltto -30volts. The adjustable pulsewidthisthesameasfor the 50-ohm termination. The risetimeorfalltimeofthe 60o-ohmoutputpulseislessthan70nanoseconds.
