1、14 kHz Film Sync Generator MODEL 1460 Features Frequency stable solid state circuit Self-contained power supply No additional Record head required Description The Model 1460 Film Sync Generator provides a control track or synchronizing signal which is recorded along with the audio program. When the

2、tape is played back on suitable equipment found in any fi lm transfer studio, lip synchroni zation with sprocket driven fi lm or other syn chronous devices is maintained. Absolute sync during transfer of tape to 8, 16 or 35 mm. optical or magnetic fi lm is thus assured. The control track is a 14 kHz

3、 signal, ampli tude-modulated by the 60 Hz line frequency. This control signal may be injected directly into the tape recorder electronics or may be fed into a microphone or line level input of the associated recording console.
