2、THIS BULLETIN REPLACES BULLETIN NO. 3 AND NO. 7 Pot FP Plus Created by: Lab.gruppen AB Service Department Date: 090408 Reference no: Pot FP Plus Affected models Following models are affected by this technical service bulletin: FP 6000Q FP 7000 FP 10000Q FP 13000 Affected boards/modules UI12Lx203, PO
3、T2B, UI12Lx403, POT4C. Symptom Distortion or dead channel due to bad potentiometers. Potentiometer VR10KLIN31HSBF replaces potentiometer VR10KLIN21H since the 21-step potentiometer has bad quality. When doing service on a FP+ Series amplifier the potentiometers shall be exchanged if a POT-board with
4、 the old type of potentiometers is mounted. See picture below on how to identify the old type of potentiometer. Solution UI12Lx203 and POT2B needs to be changed to UI12Lx205 and POT2B04 to get the new potentiometers to fit. UI12Lx403 and POT4C needs to be changed to UI12Lx405 and POT4C03 to get the

6、ACKA, SWEDEN |. Note Old potentiometers (see picture 1 below) have plastic axis (black) and the new potentiometer have a steel axis. Both POT-board and UI-board needs to be exchanged since the new POT- board does not fit with the old UI-board. If the potentiometer VR10KLIN31_TOK (see picture 2 below
7、) is mounted those does not need to be replaced, only potentiometers with plastic axis needs to be replaced. Difference between VR10KLIN31_TOK and VR10KLIN31HSBF is the supports on the sides.
