1、Description This instruction describes the procedure for modifying the RMX Series amplifier circuitry to obtain 26dB gain for Meyer Sound Systems. Instructions Tools required: ? Soldering iron with fine tip (recommended range 25 to 60 W) ? Desoldering station ? Rosin-core solder (63/37 eutectic type

2、 recommended) and flux ? #2 Philips screwdrivers ? Small boxes or compartments (to keep assorted screws during disassembly) ? Small diagonal cutters Parts required: ModelCH1: R105, R106; CH2: R205, R206 RMX8506.34k RMX14504.99k RMX1850HD4.42k RMX24504.02k Note: All four SMT resistors are 1/10 watt,

3、1% tolerance, and type 805. Table 1 Installation procedure: 1. Disconnect the amplifier from AC and wait at least 10 minutes for internal voltages to bleed down. 2. Remove the top cover of the chassis. 3. Remove the right main PCB assembly from the chassis and turn it upside down. Refer to RMX Techn

4、ical Service Manual for assembly aid if needed. 4. If your amplifier is RMX850 or RMX1450 model, use Figure 1 to locate R105, R106 for channel 1, and R205, R206 for channel 2. If your amplifier is RMX1850HD or RMX2450, use Figure 2 instead. Replace them with matching resistors for the desired RMX mo

5、del. See Table 1. 5. Reinstall the right main PCB assembly into the chassis. 6. Make sure there are no foreign objects in the amplifier.
