C. line (from Telephone Intercom Unit) to terminals labele d “l.C.“ ;connect progra m l ine from Channel A power ampli- fier to ter

2、minals labeled “A”; connect program line from Channel B power amplifier to terminals labele d B ”. Connect 24 volts (preferably DC) to terminal labeled HI; connect power supply ground (minus) to terminal on copper conductive strip; obtain DC from terminals B3 and B4 (Gnd.) on 4A310. 400-1051-c Radio

Connect room speaker line to the pair of terminals at each number, i.e., 1,2,3, etc., which appears either below or above the pair of terminals; connect speaker line shields to terminals labeled “S”. Connect

4、 annunciator line to terminal labeled “A” for each room or area. 0 PERATION Each switch lever provides separate control for a room or area speaker. Annunciator lights are connected to illuminate in any position when an incoming telephone-intercom call is made. In a sound system console with telephon

5、e-intercom , the 9A580 provides communication with rooms with telephone stations. Program selection may be separately controlled for each room or area speaker, i.e., any speaker selector switch may be set to either Channel A, Channel B, or OFF, depending upon the choice of sound service for the room

6、 or speaker area. MAINTENANCE No extensive maintenance is required for the Model 9A580 Annunciator remove the designation strip bracket to reach annunciator lamps . Pull out the burnt out lamp and replace with one which is good. Any loose connection can cause intermittent and noisy operation; be sur

8、e new, attractive design in the plastic cover for the designation strip serves a useful purpose as well in that it is a special continuous magnifying lens to help make reading at a glance for the user. To mount the designation strip, first slide the strip into place in the plastic cover. Then, slide

9、 each push-rivet fastener into place behind the designation strip; position each rivet with its opening in the panel.Push each fastener into place by pressing on the plastic cover. To remove the designation strip, use a slender screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover. Place a clean cloth or stiff card behind prying tool to prevent any damage to enamel finish on panel.Pry very carefully behind each push-rivet to prevent tearing or scratching the plastic cover.Once removed, the designation may be slid out of the plastic cover for any change to be made. 400-866
