Body or clothes electrostatic potential could ruin laser diode in the optical block. Be sure ground body and workbench, and use care

SHLD-CASE, TOP 1)Remove the two screws (VTT+3-4). 2)Remove the SHLD-CASE, TOP in the direction of the a
9、rrow B while opening the SHLD-CASE, TOP in the direction of the arrow A. Note for assembling Ensure that the three positions circled by round C are engaged securely. 2. MD C.B 1)Remove the eight WIRES from the mechanism chassis by a soldering iron. 2)Remove the two screws, the SCREW A (VT2+2-6) and the SCREW B (S-SCREW, VTT2-15). 3)Disengage the detent C in the three locations and lift up the MD C.
11、B. 4)Short-circuit the SHORT LAND of the pick-up. (Fig. 3-2) 5)Disconnect the FFC of the pick-up and remove the MD C. B. (Fig. 3-2) Notes for assembling 1)Remove the short-circuit of the pick-up by unsoldering. 2)Ensure that the four switches are located correctly. (Fig. 3-3 a, Fig. 3-3 b, Fig. 3-3
12、c) 3)Ensure that the FFC of the pick-up is not pinched between the LOADING MOTOR and the PWB. (Fig. 3-4) 4)Ensure that the WIRES are connected with the mechanism chassis properly by soldering. (Fig. 3-5) 5)Ensure that the WIRE has an allowance so that the routing range of the WIRE OWH can be secured

(Fig. 4-1) 2)Disengage the two hooks (BOX-CTRG, ASSY side) of the SPR-E, BOX. (Fig. 4-2 a, Fig. 4-2 b) 3)Disengage the three detents (circled in Fig. 4-3) of the CH
14、AS ASSY and remove the BOX-CTRG, ASSY. Note for assembling When assembling the BOX-CTRG ASSY, ensure that the SLIDER, CTRG is engaged securely as shown in Fig. 4-4. -7- Fig.5-1Fig.5-2 Fig.6-1Fig.6-2 Fig.7 DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS-4/6 5. OWH (Over Write Head) 1)Remove the LEVER, OWH in the direction
15、of the arrow B while opening it in the direction of the arrow A. (Fig. 5-1) 2)Remove the screw (VW+1.7-5 W/O) and remove the OWH while paying attention to the wire of the OWH. (Fig. 5-2) 6. SLIDER, MAIN 1)Disengage the detent (circled in Fig. 6-1) of the CHAS, ASSY. 2)Slide the SLIDER, MAIN in the d
16、irection of the arrow A as shown in Fig. 6-2. 3)Remove the SLIDER, MAIN upward. 7. PICK UP ASSY 1)Pull out the SHAFT, GUIDE in the direction of the arrow A. 2)Remove the PICK UP ASSY. -8- Fig.8-1Fig.8-2 Fig.8-3 Fig.8-4Fig.8-5 DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS-5/6 8. GEAR CAM 1)Remove the screw (S-SCREW, SPH)
17、 and remove the GEAR, RACK PINION. (Fig. 8-1) Note for assembling Install the GEAR, RACK PINION by aligning the marking of it as shown in the circle in Fig. 8-2. 2)Slide the SLIDER, RACK in the direction of the arrow A while pressing the detent (circled in Fig. 8-3) and remove it. 3)Disengage the de
18、tent (Fig. 8-4) of the LEVER, SW-CAM and remove the LEVER, SW-CAM. 19、CAM from the rear side of the CHAS ASSY and remove the GEAR CAM. Notes for assembling 1)Install the SLIDER, OWH and slide it in the direction of the arrow A until it stops. (Fig. 8-7) 2)Install the GEAR, CAM and rotate it in the direction of the arrow B (clockwise) until it stops. (Fig. 8-8) 3)Confi
