5、1Removing the front panel assembly (See Fig.1) (1) Press the release button and remove the front panel as- sembly. Fig.1 2.1.2Removing the bottom cover (See Fig.2) Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the front panel assembly. (1) Turn the body upside down. (2) Insert a screwdriver un

6、der the joints to release the two joints a on the left side, the two joints b on the right side and the joint c on the back of the body, then remove the bottom cover from the body. CAUTION: When releasing the joint c using a screwdriver, do not damage the main board. Fig.2 2.1.3Removing the front ch

7、assis (See Fig.3) Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the front panel assembly and bottom cover. (1) Remove the screw A on each side of the body. (1) Remove the two scre

9、ws B and two screws C attaching the heat sink on the left side of the body, and remove the heat sink. Fig.4 2.1.5Removing the rear panel (See Fig.5 ) Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the front panel assembly and bottom cover. (1) Remove the two screws D, one screw E and three scre

10、ws F attaching the rear panel on the back of the body. Fig.5 2.1.6Removing the main board (See Fig.6) Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the front panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis, heat sink and rear panel. (1) Remove the two screws G attaching the main board on the top c

11、hassis. (2) Disconnect the two connectors CN901 and CN721 on the main board from the cassette mechanism assembly. 12、e the front panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis, heat sink, rear panel and main board. (1) Remove the four screws H attaching the cassette mecha- nism assembly from the top chassis. Fig.7 2.1.8Removing the head amplifier board (See Fig.8) Prior to performing the following procedure, remove t

13、he front panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis, heat sink, rear panel, main board and cassette mechanism assembly. (1) Disconnect the wire from CJ901 on the head amplifier board. (2) Remove the one screw J attaching the head amplifier board. (3) Move the head amplifier board in the direction o

14、f the arrow to release the two joints f, the head amplifier board can be removed. 15、rocedure, remove the front panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis, heat sink, rear panel, main board and cassette mechanism assembly. (1) Disconnect the wire from CP722 on the relay board. (2) Remove the one screw K attaching the relay board. (3) Move the relay board in the direction of the arr

16、ow to release the joint g, the relay board can be removed. INSTALLAT

30、ION (IN-DASH MOUNTING) The following illustration shows a typical installation. However, you should make adjustments corresponding to your specific car. If you have any questions or require information regarding installation kits, consult your JVC IN-CAR ENTERTAINMENT dealer or a company supplying k

31、its. 1202KKSMDTJEIN EN, RU 1Before mounting: Press (control panel release button) to detach the control panel if already attached. * When shipped from the factory, the control panel is packed in the hard case. 2Remove the trim plate. 3Remove the sleeve after disengaging the sleeve locks. 1 Stand the

32、 unit. Note: When you stand the unit, be careful not to damage the fuse on the rear. 2 Insert the 2 handles between the unit and the sleeve, as illustrated, to disengage the sleeve locks. 3 Remove the sleeve. Note: Be sure to keep the handles for future use after installing the unit. 4Install the sl

33、eeve into the dashboard. * After the sleeve is correctly installed into the dashboard, bend the appropriate tabs to hold the sleeve firmly in place, as illustrated. 5Fix the mounting bolt to the rear of the units body and place the rubber cushion over the end of the bolt. 6Do the required electrical

34、 connections. 7Slide the unit into the sleeve until it is locked. 8Attach the trim plate. 9Attach the control panel.
