When throwing away the HDMI RE board, be sure to throw away after destroying IC5004 and IC5005 physicall
17、y with the hammer etc. UPDATE OF SOFTWARE OF THE HDMI CONTROLLER (IC5006) Connect: Procedure: 1.Connect CN5003 on the HDMI RE Board with Jig (part no.: J- 2501-299-A) by using FFC. Connect Jig Board with PC by using RS232 cross cable. 2.Set the SW5002 of Jig Board HIGH side. 3.Activate SPECIAL MENU
18、MODE by pressing ?/1 button to turn on the main power while holding TUNING MODE and INPUT MODE button. The message “SPECIALIZED” appears. 4.Use TONE +/- knob to select HDMI UPDATE OFF in SPECIAL menu. Change “HDMI UPDATE OFF” to “HDMI UPDATE ON” by using TUNING +/- knob. 5.Push reset switch (SW5001)
19、 of the jig. 6.Boot the “FlashSta.exe” of update application distributed with the manual. 7.Select “Baud rate=19200” and “Program_intervals=40”. 8.Select “Select Program=Internal flash memory” and “RS232C=using com port”. 9.Click “Refer” and select mot file. Set “ID=FF FF FF FF FF FF FF”. 10. Select
20、 “MCU Type=M16C/20 62”. 11. Click “E.P.R” to start update software. 12. To check the HDMI controller software version, use TONE +/- knob to select HDMI VER X.XX in SPECIAL menu.
