Playable DISC Before:Only Consumer CD-R/RW DISC is playable. V.1.8:Consumer CD-R/RW DISC and Professional CD-R/RW DISC both are playable. (Professional CD-

8、R/RW DISC is not recordable.) REMAEK:This update had done with EPROM V.1.4. The error indication for professional DISC “NO AUDIO” is not shown after this update. 2. STOP condition while recording Digital source (Auto Track increment and Auto Stop) Before: Recording will automatically to STOP after s

9、ilent sound signal less than -50dB continued 20sec. (Detect the analogue signal level out put from the DAC.) V.1.8: In case of CD and MD; Recording will automatically to STOP approx. 3sec passed after the source DISC stop. (Detect the VALIDITY FLAG standard in IEC958.) In case of DAT; Recording will

10、 automatically to STOP after silent sound signal less than -50dB continued 20sec. (no modification) ( In case of last Track playback for source: 1 Track recording) Before: Recording will automatically to STOP after silent sound signal less than -50dB continued 20sec. 12、 DISC is recordable after DISC ERASE (ALL ERASE) only. V.1.8:Finalized DISC is recordable after DISC ERASE or TOC ERASE (Unfinalize). In case of TOC ERASE, additional recording and last track ERASE are available. 4. Emphasis bit Before:Emphasis bit will record to the DISC, in case of categories are

13、CD, MD, DAT and DCC. V.1.8:Emphasis bit will record to the DISC, in case of categories are CD, MD, DAT, DCC, Japanese digital audio broadcast and General. REMARK Service code numbers 4822 900 11271 of that EPROM is not changed by this modification. The latest version of the EPROM is supplied always by same service code number.
