A rewrite is required when the CPU (IC28) is replaced during an SR7400 repair. SR5400, SR6400 and SR7400

2、 CPUs (IC28) are all common, but the firmware is different. The firmware for SR5400/SR6400 is already written in the replacement parts CPU (IC28), a rewrite for SR7400 firmware is required to overwrite the incorrect firmware version. 2. Rewrite of firmware is necessary. Otherwise the unit wont opera

3、te after replacing the CPU. Solution: 1. When CPU (IC28) is replaced, rewrite software for SR7400 2. The rewrite software use the file name “SR7400_CPU_V040218_2.zip ”. Version is V040218_2. Double-click ”SR7400_0402182.mot “, start the program. Please refer to the service manual SR7400 page 61 to 6
