When the unit has detected an abnormality, the protection operation that auto-launches may damage the POWER AMP. 2. When the HDMI connec

2、tion mode is set to THROUGH while the unit is connected to a TV set that supports HDMI 1.3, the PLAYER may transmit HDMI 1.3 signals that supports Deep Color to the monitor in abnormal condition that distorts the picture. 3. When the channel is jumped from Multi Ch-PCM track to 2ch PCM track while t

3、he PLAYER is connected via HDMI, the SR4001/SR5001 will not output OPT/COAX digital signals. Solution: To minimize any damage inflicted when the POWER AMP has failed and to improve the performance when the unit is connected via HDMI, please update the software. 1. Modify the protection operation tha

4、t auto-launches when the unit has detected an abnormality. When an abnormality is detected in the POWER AMP, the unit goes into STANDBY with the STANDBY LED flickersg every 500m sec. It can never be powered on again with the STANDBY switch or the remote controller, so as not to further damage the PO

5、WER AMP. When an abnormality is detected with the POWER AMP, the unit goes into STANDBY with the STANDBY L

8、ED flickering every 125m sec. It has been modified never to be powered on again by any other means than the specific operation mentioned below. (*1): *1 If the set can not be powered on again by plugging into the AC power source (while the STANDBY LED keeps flickering every 125m sec.), the POWER AMP

9、 has been damaged. The power supply can be restored by the following means: “FACTORY” KEY = SR5001: MULTI SPEAKER + EXIT + ATT SR4001: S.SPEAKER B + EXIT + ATT However, this can further damage the POWER AMP. Never let end users do this. 2. When the HDMI connection mode is set to THROUGH with HDMI 3.

10、 PREFERENCE selected on the MENU, the picture can be distorted due to lack of Deep Color data from the PLAYER as the SR4001/5001 does not support HDMI 1.3. This problem has been rectified. 3. The units have been corrected to output OPT/COAX Digital signals after the channel is jumped from Multi Ch-P

11、CM track to 2ch PCM track while the PLAYER is connected via HDMI. Please update the microprocessor firmware.
