NAD 713 SERVICE HINT PROBLEM: Rear channels are not loud enough. CAUSE: As the rear speakers are connected in series, the volume is too low. SOLUTION: Replace resistor R 674, normally 4K7, by 12K. This will increase the output level of the remote speakers in such a way, that the level is the same at 0dB using all 8 ohms speakers. R674 is located behind the volume control, under IC Q674.
