17、mbly Instructions Caution Note: This section describes the disassembly and/or assembly procedures for all major printed circuit boards & main compo- nents for the unit. (You may refer to the section of “Main components and P.C.B Locations” as described in the service manual) Before carrying out the

18、disassembly process, please ensure all the safety precautions & procedures are followed. During the disassembly and/or assembly process, please handle with care as there may be chassis components with sharp edges. Avoid touching heatsinks due to its high temperature after prolong use. (See caution a

19、s described below) During disassembly and assembly, please ensure proper service tools, equipments or jigs is being used. During replacement of component parts, please refer to the section of “Replacement Parts List” as described in the ser- vice manual. Select items from the following indexes when

To assemble the unit, reverse the steps shown in the

31、 Lid is properly seated on the locators and slot into the hole of the iPhone Docking Unit. Caution 2 : During assembling, ensure the iPod Cover Lid is properly catch to the iPhone Docking Unit and a “click” sound will be heard when fully catched. Step 5 : Open the iPod Lid by pressing as arrow shown

32、. Step 6 : Release the Lid Spring as shown. Step 7 : Remove the Lid Spring as shown. Caution : Keep the Lid Spring in safe place and place them back during assembling. 35 Step 8 : Push the shaft (A) of the iPod Lid in the direction as shown. Caution : Do not exert strong force to the iPod lid during

33、 removal. Step 9 : Lift up the iPod lid as shown. Step 10 : Push the shaft (B) of the iPod Lid in the direction as shown. Caution : Do not exert strong force to the iPod lid during removal. Step 3 : Detach 18P FFC at the connector (CN1100) on the Main P.C.B. Step 4 : Detach 5P Cable Wire at the connector (CN6201) on the Main P.C.B. 37 Step 5 : Release 2 ta

35、bs at the side of the Front Panel Block in the direction of arrows. Step 6 : Press to release the catch. Caution : During assembling, ensure the Front Panel Block is fully catched onto the Bottom Chassis Block. Step 7 : Remove the Front Panel Block. Caution : Do not attempt to exert strong force whe

45、1.Disassembly of Diode (D5802) Caution : Avoid touching the heatsink unit and SMPS P.C.B., due to its high temperature after prolonged use. Touching it may lead to injuries. Step 1 : Desolder pins of the Diode (D5802) on the solder side of SMPS P.C.B. Step 2 : Remove 1 screw. Step 3 : Remove the Dio

46、de (D5802). 46 9.16.2.Assembly of Diode (D5802) Caution : Avoid touching the heatsink unit and SMPS P.C.B., due to its high temperature after prolonged use. Touching it may lead to injuries. Step 1 : Apply grease to the heatsink unit. Step 2 : Fix the Diode (D5802) onto SMPS P.C.B. Caution : Ensure

47、the pins of Diode (D5802) is inserted and seated properly on the SMPS P.C.B. Step 3 : Fix the Diode (D5802) onto the heatsink unit with 1 screws. Caution : Ensure the Diode (D5802) is tightly screwed to the Heatsink. Step 4 : Solder pins of the Diode (D5802).
