2、re before proceeding) DESCRIPTION: The four disc dvd set LORD OF THE RINGS THE TWO TOWERS, DISC #3 will not play on the T531. To correct this, follow the given procedure below: Power on the unit and insert the software upgrade CD-R (that you will have created from the NAD service website see attache

3、d before proceeding). Be sure to only download and use the appropriate version. For 120V UNITS USE - T531AHT531AH. For 230V UNITS USE - T531CT531C. The front panel of the T531 will show “CD Read nn” where nn is a number that will count down from 30 to 0. It will then display “FLASH nn” and again wil

4、l count down from 30 but will do so twice. After the count down, the unit will upgrade and when finished the display on the front of the T531 will show “FINISHED”. At this point you can power off the unit only by unplugging the unit. Then power up and remove the CD-R disc. Alternatively, the unit wi

5、ll go into standby after 1-2 minutes, then power up and remove the disc. This completes the software upgrade for the T531. 6、de CD First download the appropriate zip file from the web which can be found at You must have access to the service site in order to do this. Use a compression program (either WinZip or another suitable program) to unzip the contents. You will see 2 files assuming you downloaded T531 AH: T531_AH_03

7、1217.iso T531_AH_031217.nrg If you downloaded T531 C, you will get the following files: T531_C_031217.iso T531_C_031217.nrg The second file is for use with software called Nero Burning Rom (or Nero Express) and it is the software we recommend for burning this CD. If you have Nero Burning Rom (or Ner

8、o Express) installed, you simply double-click on the file named T531_AH_031217.nrg or T531_C_031217.nrg (depending on whether its the 120V or the 240V unit) and Nero will start up with a “Write CD” screen. Simply click the “Write” button. Insert an empty CD-R or CD-RW media and the CD will be burned

9、. From here, you can skip to the directions for upgrading the unit on page 1. If you do not use Nero and cannot get a trial version of it downloaded from the internet, you may use the T531_AH_031217.iso or T531_C_031217.iso to burn a CD. To do this, you need a program that can handle ISO images (pretty much any CD-writing software including Nero or Easy CD Creator).
