Display the MAIN MENU on the LCD of the RC3001, then press the button next to the “STATUS” indicator. 2. Pressing the EN

19、TER button cycles through the statuses of each of the items below. Remaining learning memory Remaining macro steps LCD timer setting Backlight timer setting Beep setting Firmware version Current clock time Either press the ENTER button or wait three seconds so that the LCD returns to the MAIN MENU.

20、5. RESET If the RC3001 is not operating properly, use the procedure below to perform a reset (restart). Performing a reset does not erase the settings in the RC3001. 1. Remove the battery case cover. 2. Use a paper clip or other object to press the reset button in the reset hole as shown in the fi g

21、ure below to reset the RC3001. Note: Perform the reset with the battery pack loaded. 6. PROGRAMMABLE CODES NUMBER OF PROGRAMMABLE CODES This remote control has Flash memory 4M bit (512KB) that enables it to program remote control signals include the learned codes for up to 8000 codes. This number is

22、 for Marantz remote control codes. The actual number of codes may be less than 8000 depending on the type of the programmed remote control signals. PROGRAMMABLE CODES This remote control may be unable to learn the codes for some AV equipment due to the code types, system, or other differences. RC300

At fi rst, you download the software “Wizz.it 3” from the Home Entertainment section of your region in Marantz Website . 2. Open the d

24、ownloaded fi le in your PC and follow the on screen instructions to install the editor. Notes: You can install Wizz.it 3 together with other Marantz editors. The fi les of Wizz.it 3 are automatically placed in a separate directory. CUSTOMIZING THE CONFIGURATION FILE During the installation of the ed

25、itor, one confi guration fi le was also saved on your PC. There is one default confi guration fi le which you can start from to create a custom confi guration fi le (CF) (defaultRC3001.mcf). The default CF is constructed in such a way that they can be easily adjusted to the needs of every customer.

26、This fi le contains the main Marantz remote control codes for enabling control of Marantz products with the default settings. CONNECTIONS CONNECT PC AND REMOTE CONTROLLER 1. The attached USB cable connects to the USB port of remote controller and the USB port of your PC 2. Open the USB Device wizard

27、 menu in your PC automatically. 3. Select the automatic scanning of USB driver or select the location of USB driver. The location of RC2001_3001 USB driver C:Program FilesMarantzMarantz Wizz.it 3 Note: The USB driver of RC2001 and RC3001 does not take the certifi cation of Microsoft.
