TEST PROCEDURE.18 8. EXPLODED VIEW check the potentiometer knob, and be sure it has no frication. 4. Functional Test:

2、 1). After the surface check is OK, input the proper AC power voltage, open the maim power switch, the POWER led will light up. Then open the PHANTOM switch, the PHANTOM led will light up. The second and third pin on each MIC output socket MIC1, MIC2, MIC3, MIC4, MIC (MONO) has 48V PHANTOM voltage w

3、hich is tested by voltmeter, and close this switch (notice: we should close this switch for the following test , or the instrument will be damaged). 2). Put the MAIN MIX LEVEL, PHONES/CONTROL ROOM, EQ, AUX, PAN, and BAL knob in 0; put the TRIM, AUX RTN1 and AUX RTN2 in min, the entire keys is OFF. (

4、when test the LEVEL of CH1CH2, we should turn the LEVEL to max) 3). AP input 0dBu, connect the balanced input to MIC MIC1, MIC2, MIC3, MIC4, MIC (MONO) respectively; when the balanced output is in MAIN MIX OUTPUT, the output is +5dBu (2dB) THD+N0.005%. - 18 - 4). Connect the unbalanced input to AUX

5、RETURN2 respectively, the unbalanced output (LEFT when press the 2TK TO CONTORL ROOM, the output is -4dBu (2dB) THD+N0.002%. 8). Input +15dBu 1KHz SINE wave (Load out 600 BNC-Unbal) from LINE1, press the MAIN MIX TO CONTROL ROOM, turn the MAIN MIX LEVEL to min, the LED LEVEL will be decreased simult

6、aneously; turn the MAIN MIX LEVEL potentiometer to max, the LED LEVEL will light up in return. The output level (LEFT rotate the EQ LOW knob of the corresponding channel to max (15) in clockwise, and the output is +15dBu (2dB); rotate the EQ LOW knob on this channel to min (-15) in counterclockwise,

7、 and the output is -15dBu (2dB); 2). Change the input frequency to 2.5KHz, rotate the EQ MID knob on corresponding channel to max (+12) in clockwise, and the output is +12dBu (2dB), the output is -12dBu (2dB) on the other hand; 3). Change the input frequency to 12KHz, rotate the EQ HIGH knob on the

8、corresponding channel to max (+15) in clockwise, the output is +15dBu (3dB); 6. The effect for testing DSP: Input signal from MIC1 to MIC4, input signal from AUX SENDS1, at the moment turn the AUX2, AUX2 SEND, AUX RTN2 (DFX) to max, and turn the AUX1 to min, rotate the PRESETS and ARATIONS knob, it

9、will appear the signal which has been processed by DSP, if the INPUT signal is larger, the PEAK led will light up (red), once press the DFX MUTE key, it will appear the BYPASS signal. 7. The test for USB function: 1). Set the MAIN MIX LEVEL, PHONES/CONTROL ROOM, EQ, PAN, BAL knob to 0, the TRIM, AUX

10、1, AUX2, AUX RTN1, AUX RTN2, 2TK IN, ALT3-4, SENDS to min, rotate the PAN on CH1 to LEFT, and the PAN knob on CH2 to RIGHT, and set the entire key in OFF. 2). AP input 0dBu, connect the balanced input to MIC1, MIC2, CH1, CH2 and rotate the LEVEL on these to max, set the unbalanced output in MAIN MIX

11、 OUTPUT, and the output is +10dBu (2dB) THD+N0.005%. - 21 - 3). Switch the USB RECORD to CH1/2 and the USB PLAYBACK to MAIN MIX, connect the USB line to PC, and open the recorder to tape for 60 seconds. 4). Take off the input signal, and press the playing key, the output is 0dBu (2dB) THD+N2%. 5). A

12、P input 0dBu, connect the balanced input to MIC1, MIC2, CH1, CH2 and rotate the LEVEL on these to max, set the unbalanced output in MAIN MIX OUTPUT, and the output is +10dBu (2dB) THD+N0.005%. 6). Switch the USB RECORD to MAIN MIX, the USB PLAYBACK to CH11/12, and connect the USB line to PC, open th

13、e recorder to tape for 60 seconds. - 22 - 7). Take off the input signal, press the LINE/USB on CH11/12, push the CH LEVEL to 0, and then press the playing key, and the output is +4dBu (2dB) THD+N1%. 8). Open the C:Apw inS2A-A FFT. at2 and set: 9). Do not input the signal, set the unbalanced output i

14、n MAIN MIX OUTPUT, switch the USB RECORD to MAIN MIX, the USB PLAYBACK to MAIN MIX, connect the USB line to PC, and open the recorder to tape for 60 seconds. 10). After recording, press the playing key, the AP will start to scan; the waveform has no special prominence, and then connects the high qua

15、lity amplifier and speaker to listen if there has high frequency sounding. - 23 - 8. Selecting Check: connect the AMX-180FX USB to high quality amplifier and speaker, and listen if there has abnormal noise. 9. Factory Preset: rotate the entire volume control knob to min, and the other control knob i
