Before making this adjustment, check the setting of oscillator core “H. The rear of the core should be 1 Sfi from the mounting end of the coil form. This measur

6、ement is readily made by inserting a suitable plug in the mounting end of the coil form. The core adjustment is made from the mounting end of the coil form with an insulated screw driver. (It will be necessary to steady the core guide bar by applying a downward pressure at the antenna core end of th

7、e bar while making these adjustments.) If this adjustment is necessary, first dissolve the glyptal seal on the core stud and be sure to re-seal after making the adjustment.
