1、IU5 VOLUME R-17, MOST-OFTEN-NEEDED 1957 RADIO SERVICING INFORMATION PHILCO E-670, E-672, E-675 AND E-676 ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE GeneralAllow set and test equipment to warm up for fifteen minutes before starting the alignment. Dial IndicatorBefor alignment, the dial knob should be set as follows: with t

2、he condenser gang plates fully meshed, the indicator on knob should be pointing straight up. Output IndicatorConnect a 1000-ohms-per-volt a-c voltmeter or an oscilloscope across the voice-coil terminals. Signal GeneratorUse an AM r-f signal generator. Connect the ground lead to B, and connect the ou

3、tput lead as indicated in the alignment chart. Output LevelAttenuate the signal generator output through out the alignment so as to maintain the output below .4 volts. Radar ControlsSet the volume control to maximum. Set the tuning control as indi ated in the alignment chart. It is recom mended that

4、 a-c power be used when aligning the radio.
