15、egohms, the resistor should be replaced with a standard Stook #14861 unit.Removing R-13 from the oirouit entirely will be permissible where a slight emcees of sensitiv- ity can be tolerated. Unstable performance at the high frequency end of the C band may be due to super -regenerative Lotion in the

16、osoillator-deteotor oirouits. Careful re -alignment of the C band oirouits will correct most oases of this trouble, however, it may be necessary to replaoe the osoillator resistor R-2.This resistor should have 33.000 ohms resistanoe.The C band oirouits must be aligned at 16,000 Co, with the heterody

17、ne osoillator stage tracking 460 Ko below the signal frequency. MODEL 85K A limited number of instruments have the loudspeaker mounted in suoh a manner that one of the mounting studs is direotly in line with the out- put transformer.In some oases, this stud may protrude to the extent of striking the

18、 transformer winding and the oirouit will be shorted, result- ing in low over-all sensitivity or weak output.The condition should be oorreoted, where necessary, by removing the speaker and revolving it approximately 45 degree. to a new mounting position, so that the trans- former does not fall oppos
