17、) 4 600 kc 600 kcL3 (osc.) in 6 Repeat steps 3 and 4 Excessive Regeneration: When excessive regeneration occurs in models I4BT-1, 14BT-2, and 14BK, the following procedure should he followed: (a) Make certain the grounding finger for IN5GT tube shield is fastened to tube pin No. 1, which is grounded

18、 to receiver chassis. (h) Make certain that the metal rim of IN5GT socket is soldered to the chassis. (c) Realign T.F. transformers, using stage-hy- stage procedure as specified in service notes, and do not touch-up individual trimmers. (d) Unusually high -gain IN5GT or 1A7GT tubes should be replace

Distortion and Loss of Sensitivity: Some cases of loss of sensitivity, and distor- tion ha

21、ve been associated with frequency drift. In such an event, correction may be made by: (a) Connecting a 9 mmfd. condenser (RCA Stock No. 27814) from the high side of the oscillator section, at the gang con- denser, to ground. (h) Realigning the 1st detector and oscillator tuned circuits. (cl Realigni
