Check the entire board surface for solder splashes and bridges. 2.Check the interboard wiring to ensure that no wires are pinched or contact high-wattage resistors.
8、3.Look for unauthorized replacement parts, particularly transistors, that were installed during a previous repair. Point them out to the customer and recommend their replacement. 4.Look for parts which, through functioning, show obvious signs of deterioration. Point them out to the customer and reco
9、mmend their replacement. 5.Check the B+ voltage to see it is at the values specified. 6.Flexible Circuit Board Repairing Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around 270C during repairing. Do not touch the soldering iron on the same conductor of the circuit board (within 3 times). Be careful no
10、t to apply force on the conductor when soldering or unsoldering. Unleaded solder Boards requiring use of unleaded solder are printed with the lead- free mark (LF) indicating the solder contains no lead. (Caution: Some printed circuit boards may not come printed with t
13、he lead free mark due to their particular size.) : LEAD FREE MARK Unleaded solder has the following characteristics. Unleaded solder melts at a temperature about 40C higher than ordinary solder. Ordinary soldering irons can be used but the iron tip has to be applied to the solder joint for a slightl
14、y longer time. Soldering irons using a temperature regulator should be set to about 350C. Caution: The printed pattern (copper foil) may peel away if the heated tip is applied for too long, so be careful! Strong viscosity Unleaded solder is more viscous (sticky, less prone to flow) than ordinary sol
15、der so use caution not to let solder bridges occur such as on IC pins, etc. Usable with ordinary solder It is best to use only unleaded solder but unleaded solder may also be added to ordinary solder. 29、h this product will increase eye hazard. Should any solid object or liquid fall into the cabinet, unplug the player and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating it any further. On power sources The player is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as long as it is connected
30、to the wall outlet, even if the player itself has been turned off. If you are not going to use the player for a long time, be sure to disconnect the player from the wall outlet. To disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), grasp the plug itself; never pull the cord. On placement Place the player in
31、 a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat build-up in the player. Do not place the player on a soft surface such as a rug that might block the ventilation holes. Do not place the player in a location near heat sources, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanic
32、al shock. Do not install the appliance in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet. On operation If the player is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lenses inside the player. Should this occur, the player ma
33、y not operate properly. In this case, remove the disc and leave the player turned on for about half an hour until the moisture evaporates. When you move the player, take out any discs. If you dont, the disc may be damaged. On adjusting volume Do not turn up the volume while listening to a section wi
34、th very low level inputs or no audio signals. If you do, the speakers may be damaged when a peak level section is played. On cleaning Clean the cabinet, panel, and controls with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or so
35、lvent such as alcohol or benzine. On cleaning discs Do not use a commercially available cleaning disc. It may cause a malfunction. If you have any questions or problems concerning your player, please consult your nearest Aiwa dealer. IMPORTANT NOTICE Caution: This player is capable of holding a stil
36、l video image or on-screen display image on your television screen indefinitely. If you leave the still video image or on-screen display image displayed on your TV for an extended period of time you risk permanent damage to your television screen.
