1、Ampl ified Wal l Baffl e Speaker Model ASWB1 Ins tallation and Us e Manual Descr ipt ion Bogens s elf-amplified wall baffle s peaker is an 8-inch, cone-type louds peaker , complete with built-in 1W amplifier and volume contr ol mounted in a wood gr ain baffle (WB8). The ASWB1 r equir es 1 Cur r ent

2、Unit (CU) of power .* *1CU = 50mA Inst al l at ion Inst r uct ions for ASWB1 The louds peaker s hould be ins talled at a r ecommended height of 8 to 12 feet above the floor , depending on need. Note: Do not mount the speaker near noise generating equipment (fans, motors, etc.) and do not use where a

3、 normal conv ersation cannot be conducted. 1.Mar k the point fr om which to hang the s peaker . Dr ill an appr o- pr iately s ized hole in the wall and ins er t an anchor . Dr ive a s cr ew into the anchor leaving appr oximately 1/2 of the s cr ew expos ed fr om which to hang the s peaker . 2.Make e

4、lectr ical connections . Power (24V DC) and audio ar e s upplied to each s peaker via s epar ate 2-ter minal pluggable connector s . When two or mor e s peaker s ar e us ed in a s ingle paging s tation, wir e all audio and power s upply connections in par allel. Po wer s up p ly co n n ectio n s ar

5、e made at the 24V DC s cr ew ter - minals mar ked PLUS + and MINUS . The s peaker power input is not polar ity s ens itive and will als o wor k pr oper ly if the polar ity is r ever s ed. Audio Input connections ar e made at the s cr ew ter minals mar ked “TIP” and “RING.” Connect all TIP ter minals

6、 together and all RING ter minals together . Rever s ing thes e connector s on a s peaker will caus e it to cancel bas s r es pons e of adjacent s peaker s . 3.If it is neces s ar y to adjus t the volume, ins er t a thin, flat blade s cr ewdr iver into the acces s hole at the bottom of the wall baff

7、le, then tur n the volume contr ol clockwis e (as viewed fr om the bottom fr ont of the baffle) to incr eas e the volume.To r educe the volume, s imply tur n the volume con- tr ol counter clockwis e.
