The 12-in ch wo o fer has high sen sitivity to m axim ize am p lifier o utp ut. The 1.77-in ch co m p ress

4、io n driver diap hragm , co m p rised o f an titan ium -allo y fo r added stren gth an d rigidity, effo rtlessly han dles the high in p ut levels to m atch the wo o fer. A carefully design ed cro ss-o ver n etwo rk accurately filters each driver fo r p ro p er m atchin g o f p hase an d sum m atio n

5、 in the cro ss-o ver regio n . The tran sitio n is m uch sm o o ther than o ther lo ud- sp eakers in this class, m akin g the so un d m o re accurate an d m o re realistic. The AMT -15 co m b in es the sam e high-o utp ut co m p ressio n driver used in the AM T-12 with a ro b ust 15-in ch wo o fer.

6、The so un d q uality is en han ced further b y a richer, dyn am ic b ass resp o n se which exten ds a full 10 Hz lo wer. The AM T-15 can fill larger ro o m s with m o re p o wer than co m p etitive m o dels, an d with m uch m o re accurate so un d. Sin gl e Spea k er The Ap o gee AM T lo udsp eakers

13、o verage o r higher o n -axis SPL .The p re- ferred m etho d o f arrayin g two lo udsp eakers is with the Ap o gee Adjustab le Riggin g Beam Assem b ly (Part N o . 109- 2140). The riggin g b eam s allo w fo r user adjustm en t o f the sp lay an gle b etween the cab in ets fro m 0 degrees “Tight Pack

14、” to 30 degrees o f sp lay. In a Tight Pack Array, the to tal co verage o f the array will b e slightly greater than that o f a sin gle sp eaker. Because o f the o verlap in co verage b etween the sp eakers in the Tight Pack co n figuratio n , the o n -axis SPL will in crease 3dB. As the sp lay an g

15、le in creases, the o n -axis SPL will slo wly decrease b ack to that o f a sin gle sp eaker an d the co verage an gle will widen to a m axim um o f 120 degrees ho rizo n tal. Un derp o wered am p lifiers will clip easily, sen din g a highly disto rted sign al to the sp eaker. This disto rted sign al has a far greater den sity o f en ergy than n

17、o rm al p ro gram an d will “b urn o ut” drivers q uickly. Not e: Be certain that the to tal im p edan ce o f all in terco n n ected sp eakers is n o t lo wer than the am - p lifiers m in im um rated im p edan ce. 18、ker cab le o f the ap p ro p riate gauge is a wo rthwhile in vestm en t. N o t all o f the p o wer gen erated b y yo ur am p lifier is delivered to yo ur lo udsp eakers. So m e p o wer is lo st as heat in the sp eaker cab le. While this heat is rarely en o ugh to b e a fire hazard, it can reduce a s

19、ign ifican t am o un t o f am p lifier p o wer delivered to the lo udsp eak- ers. In additio n to lo udsp eakers n o t reachin g their full p o ten tial lo udn ess, un dersized wire will also decrease the wo o fers ab ility to resp o n d accurately to tran sien ts, leavin g the b ass resp o n se lo
