1、Easy Inst al l Ampl ified Speaker Model ASM1 Speaker Layout The l ayout of t he speakers shoul d be pl anned before inst al l at ion begins. Layout st art s in one corner of t he room. The first speaker shoul d be posit ioned from each wal l a dist ance approximat el y equal t o t he ceil ing height

2、 of t he room. The next speaker in Row 1 shoul d be spaced a dist ance approxi- mat el y equal t o t wice t he height of t he ceil ing. Each addit ional speaker in t he row shoul d use t his same spacing. Row 2 st art s at t wice t he ceil ing height dist ance from row 1 and t wice t he ceil ing hei

3、ght from t he wal l . The ot her speakers in t his row are al so spaced at t wice t he ceil ing height . Row 3 is again spaced at t wice t he ceil ing height from t he previ- ous row. The first speaker st art ing t his row is posit ioned at one ceil ing height dist ance from t he wal l (simil ar t o

4、 row 1). Cont inue t his pat t ern of al t ernat ing rows unt il t he room is covered. Because of t he wide sound dispersion charact erist ic of t he ASM1, exact pl acement is not crit ical . The spacing of t he speakers can be adjust ed so t hat t he speakers are evenl y spaced in a row. Speaker In

STEP 2 - Cl ean any l oose debris or conduct ive foil from around t he st uds. Spin t he wide-based wing nut s (suppl ied) down t

6、 he t hreaded st uds. Tight en t he wing nut s unt il t hey are very snug (finger t ight en onl y - no t ool s required). Check t hat t he speaker is drawn t ight t o t he ceil ing t il e. Fibergl ass sl eeves (suppl ied) shoul d be pl aced over t he st uds at t his point t o insul at e t he exposed

7、 port ion of t he st uds as a safet y precaut ion. STEP 3 - The el ect rical connect ions are made t o t he st uds wit h t he wire nut s (suppl ied). 10、The Bogen ASM1 Easy InstallAmplified Speaker is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser. Any part of the product covered by this warranty that, with normal installation and use, becomes defective (as confirmed

11、by Bogen upon inspection) during the applicable warranty period, will be repaired or replaced by Bogen, at Bogens option, provided the product is shipped insured and prepaid to: Bogen Factory Service Department, 50 Spring Street, Ramsey, NJ 07446, USA. Repaired or replacement product will be returne

12、d to you freight prepaid. This warranty does not extend to any of our products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, improper storage, neglect, accident, improper installation or have been modified or repaired or altered in any manner whatsoever, or where the serial number or date code has been

13、 removed or defaced. THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY IS BOGEN S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND THE PURCHASER S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. Products that are out of warranty will also

17、be repaired by the Bogen Factory Service Department same address as above or call 201-934-8500. The parts and labor involved in these repairs are warranted for 90 days when repaired by the Bogen Factory Service Department. All shipping charges in addition to parts and labor charges will be at the owners expense. All returns require a Return Authorization number.
